Indus Valley, c. 2500 - 2000 BC. A choice Amri-Nal or Mehrgarh ceramic oil lamp from Baluchistan. This thin-walled vessel stands on the characteristic ring base and is decorated with the traditional linear designs enveloping the four pinched corners. Good paint and mineral deposits.
