Ancient Egypt. New Kingdom to Late Period, c. 1570-535 BC. Large group of small of faience amulets collected between 1913-1915 in Egypt. Many fragmentary, includes pieces of Djed pillar amulets, amulets of Bes, the Eye of Horus, feline, canine and serpent deities, as well as small plaque amulets and even a dark blue miniature scarab, as well as other fragmentary pendants and beads. In colors of vibrant blue to light blue, blue-green, beige and white. Each measures between 6mm and 19mm. An interesting study group!
