Ancient Greek. Hellenistic, c. 3rd - 2nd Century BC. A lovely core glass amphoriskos, formed from opaque black glass with opaque white and green glass beautifully feathered and marvered on the sides, an opaque white spiral above winding upward to the edge of the rim. Around the shoulders of the vessel are three attached handles in the same opaque black glass as the body. A handsome and well-preserved piece with light deposits.
