Amarna, Ancient Egypt. 18th Dynasty, 1364 - 1334 BC. Time of pharaoh Akhenaten. Great ceramic mold for a faience rosette amulet or inlay. Deep-cut impression with remains of faience paste and Amarna earthen deposits! Incredible detail. Recovered from within the walls of Nefertiti's palace storerooms during early 1920's excavations.
