Excellent 18th Century Italian Flintlock Pistol // "Pirate Gun"
Product Description
Excellent 18th Century Italian flintlock pistol, with stepped barrel replete with proof marks and well-made flintlock mechanism. Brass furniture, the wood body and faux ramrod exhibiting a wonderful deep brown patina. Good condition, the iron parts being gunmetal gray with scattered erosion, the brass with a soft patina. The mechanics move somewhat, but the hammer no longer “snaps.” Well-worn from use, with minor losses to the stock.
