Ancient Rome. Maximinus I, 235-238 AD. Silver denarius, set into stunning custom 14K gold bezel. His laureate draped bust right, IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG / Providentia standing left, holding cornucopiae and wand pointed at globe at foot, PROVIDENTIA AVG. Coin is a strong EF with excellent detail.
