Luristan, ancient Persia, c. 1200 - 800 BC. Excellent, huge bronze spearhead. Long, gracefully tapered leaf-shaped blade with thin raised mid-rib and 'rat-tail' tang where it would have been affixed to the spear shaft. Intact with wonderful smooth coppery "river" patina. Nearly 16 inches") long and heavy!
