Biblical "Widow's Mite" coin. Bronze prutah, coin type mentioned in the Bible. Struck 103-76 BC. Seleucid anchor, Greek inscription "BASILEWS ALEXANDPOY" / Wheel with 8 ray-like spokes, Hebrew inscription "Yehonatan the King." Minted during the 1st Century BC but circulated during the time of Christ.

Set into a custom silver cross pendant and 18" Italian silver chain. Coin diameter 1/2"; Cross 1 5/8" x 2 3/8" including loop. Fantastic brassy color, good detail. Coin found outside Jerusalem.
