Product Description
An excellent green steatite stamp seal from the Ancient Sumerian, Jemdat Nasr, c. 3200 - 3000 BC. Rectangular in form, and depicting a pair of recumbent mouflons, a bird and linear designs forms by drilling; longitudinal hole drilled for suspension. It's a very nice seal with surface deposits throughout. Comes with original museum tagged baggie and excellent hardened clay seal impression.
