Ancient Rome. Nero, 54-68 AD. This bronze coin was struck in 66 AD. His laureate head right, IMP NERO CAESAR AVG GERM / No legend, Victory alighting left, holding a shield inscribed SPQR, S-C across fields. It has a dark olive-green patina and nice portrait.
