Product Description
A large Maya stone ear flare from Mexico, c. 250 - 600 AD, an excellent example carved from speckled greenstone. Perforated in two spots for attachment of other components. These large examples were also possibly used to hold a coif and bun in place. Extremely well preserved, good mineral deposits. With custom metal stand (entire piece stands 4 3/4” tall).
