Holy Land, Old Testament Period. Early Bronze Age, c. 3100-2900 BCE. A wonderfully preserved fine net-painted terracotta amphoriskos from the Holy Land, dating from crucial Old Testament times. The body is round, with two small lug handles, and short spout with widely flared rim. The body is painted in brick red paint in an intricate “net-like” geometric design. Fine quality and condition, with minor wear, otherwise intact!
