Nazca Lines Culture, ancient Peru, c. 200 – 500 AD. A nice Nazca decorated ceramic bowl. It is nicely painted with a register of beans around the edge which are executed in yellow, blue, and cream paint over burnished brick-red slip. Repaired but extremely well-preserved with great color. From the estate of David Sheridan, Branchburg, NJ; collection formed starting in the 1950’s, thence by descent to the family.
