Product Description
Luristan, ancient Persia, c. 1200 - 800 BCE. A huge bronze spearhead. Long, gracefully tapered leaf-shaped blade with thin, raised mid-rib and 'rat-tail' tang where it would have been affixed to the spear shaft. Intact with minor chipping. Thick olive-green patina with earthen and mineral deposits overall. It's 18.875"L and heavy!
