Pre-Classic West Mexico, 1000-500 BC. Fine Chupicuaro ceramic standing woman with slanted pinched eyes, nicely-detailed jewelry including large earspools, and elaborate hat. Ochre surface with cinnabar and white painted details. A fine example of this type, the entire piece stands 5.625” tall with the included stand.
