About the Designer
James Giardina is a Mixed Media Painter and Art Teacher who currently resides in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. Duel raised in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the artist grew up with a sincere appreciation and beauty for nature and its relationship to man-made structures. James moved to New York City in 2004 and currently teaches high school Visual Arts and Humanities and the Arts High School in Queens.
For the past year James has been a resident artist at Greenpoint Gallery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and has recently started showing with a diverse group of artists based out of Tribeca, Manhattan. In addition to painting and mentoring young artists, James also writes. He has written several short stories and recently finished a novel that is the process of being published.
