Americanflat founder Giorgio Piccoli moved to New York City a few years ago to work for JPMorgan. After getting ridiculed by gallery owners when asking for a $5,000 piece to decorate his office, Piccoli knew he wanted to create a brand that catered not to the art investor, but to the art lover.
