Re-discovering Alpina’s aviation heritage was the goal of the Startimer Classics. Early aviation pioneers had strict requirements: their instruments had to be extremely precise and provide ultimate shock resistance. In addition, Alpina pilot’s watches were mostly equipped with an anti-magnetic case, a high-contrast dial with oversized luminous numerals and luminous hands for instant readability. All of these features have been brought back to life and better, with this 18k solid rose gold case being limited to just 888 pieces worldwide.
