Product Description

World famous x-ray photographer Albert Koetsier had a love for photography starting at a young age. After earning degrees in Electrical and X-Ray Engineering, he found himself in the town where Wilhelm Röntgen first discovered x-rays. While there, Koetsier became fascinated with the photographs of everyday objects created with x-rays. In 1991, Koetsier developed his first art-worthy x-ray image and dedicated his time to perfecting and pioneering the art ever since. His daring works reveal a rich inner world that would otherwise remain hidden and encourages the viewer to re-examine natural shapes and forms from a whole new lens.

This collection is reverse printed on tempered art glass using a method inspired by the French technique of Verre Eglomise in which artists literally painted the back of clear glass. When viewed from the front, rich details and brilliant colors spring to life under the depth of the glass.
