Crafted by hand in Mexico using traditional methods of sustainable farming and distillation processes, the award-winning Aguas Mansas Mezcal is made with fresh, mature agave, that's ground by hand before its fermented in wooden tubs, and distilled in pure copper.

Tropical and citrusy, with a touch of sage and rosemary, this slightly smoky special edition mezcal pairs perfectly with pork, cottage cheese, pozole, fresh oysters, clams, tuna, and even desserts such as myrtle sweets, and guayaba pie.

One of the bottles in this set is made from Tobalà - a particular varietal of blue agave that takes 23 years to grow, and is far more complex than the more common Espadin agave. This adds a distinct quality to the flavor, and is a higher caliber of mezcal that is extraordinarily difficult to find.

The other bottle is made with traditional Espadin. This type of agave is what almost all mezcal is made from, and only takes about 7 years to grow, but is still crisp and sweet, and incorporated by hand with old world processes by the same expert distillers.

Both bottles together will give you the opportunity to taste the difference in agave varietals for yourself, and experience what slightly different iterations of the same plant does for your palate.

Because this Mezcal is part of a limited edition series, each bottle is individually numbered.
