Product Description

This 12-Year Aged Balsamic Vinegar is made with Salamino, Ancellotta, Grasparossa, & Trebbiano grapes grown in the Reggio Emilia province of Italy, and aged in oak, chestnut, cherrywood, acacia, and mulberry wood barrels. It is recommended to be used with lightly seasoned cheeses, poultry, all kinds of salads, fruit, and ice cream.

All of Antica Acetaia Mandrio's products are made with attention to the finest details. Even their corks are made by hand in Sardinia. All bottles and packaging are sealed with wax originating from Venice.

Color: A dark appearance when resting in the bottle. As light is allowed to pass through amber tones emanate.

Consistency: A thick smooth texture.

Flavor Profile: A complex yet delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. The flavor is nurtured and influenced by the various wood barrels within which it is aged for 12 years.

Storage instructions: Store balsamic vinegar away from any direct sunlight or heat. It should not be kept in a refrigerator. Many people find that it is best kept in a pantry or a cabinet.
