Herkimer Diamonds are naturally double terminated quartz crystals unique in the fact that they free form in flowing magma creating their natural diamond shape. This is an exceptionally large smoky Herkimer. This specimen features unique skeletal windows and etching that penetrates into the quartz giving the effect of waves and movement inside the piece.
