Ammonites and Belemnites are an extinct species of Orthoceras, an ancient relative to today’s modern day Cephalopods, including squids or nautilus. They fossilized over a limestone bed, with an estimated age of about 40 million years from the Devonian period, approximately 400 million years ago. This ancient specimen turned modern home decor is the perfect piece to add a touch of history to your home or office.
