This crockery collection was crafted from hand-chiseled slip-cast plaster models using a blend of calcined animal bone, china clay from Cornwall and Devonshire ball clay—a mixture that's tough, translucent and beautifully white. Twice-fired at over 1000° C, each piece is finished with an interior glaze for optimal usability. Selected by MONOQI for the Koperhuis design gallery in Ghent, this collection was recently exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and its exquisite, raw bisque finish captures the essence of the rough plaster from which it emerged.
