The Quartermaster v2 is a leather passport wallet built for patch collectors and travelers who want more than card storage. A 3×5" velcro window on the front takes 1–3 morale patches. Behind it: a slot for your passport or Field Notes, four card pockets, a cash compartment, and an optional pen pocket. Four leathers, four velcro colors.

The leather (and why it’s named on the label)

• Crazy Horse (Rusty, Pistachio) — waxed pull-up. Scratches rub out with your thumb, color shifts with carry.
• Ponte Wax (Tan) — vegetable-tanned, smooth, natural color that patinas gradually.
• Koala (Black) — smooth, even, minimal marking.

All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.

Who it’s not for

If you need a full travel wallet with a zip coin pocket, SIM card slot, and more compartments, the Quartermaster v4 is the larger version built for travel. If you want a velcro patch display on a Field Notes cover rather than a wallet, look at the Helmsman v2.

FAQ

What size patches fit the velcro window?
The window is 3×5" — standard ranger eye format. It fits any morale patch up to 3×5". Smaller patches stack or layer.

Does it actually hold a passport?
Yes. The main slot is sized for a standard passport. Field Notes 3.5×5.5" also fit in the same slot.

How many cards does it hold?
4 pockets, roughly 3–4 cards each. Realistically 6–10 cards total without making it bulge.

Do I need the pen pocket?
Only if you carry a pen. Without it the profile is slightly slimmer. Cards and passport carry the same either way.

What’s the difference between the Quartermaster v2 and v4?
The v4 is a full travel organizer — larger, with more compartments. The v2 is slimmer, focused on passport + velcro patch display for daily carry.
