hear-otc-hearing-aid-graphite-6adbacc4be49106968569ee0
Hear OTC Hearing Aid Graphite

The Hear OTC Hearing Aid Graphite is a dual-use device that works as an FDA-regulated Class 2 OTC hearing aid (FDA code QUG) or as a standard wireless earbud, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It ships in a single graphite colorway.

Four preset hearing modes, Loud, Restaurant, Conversation, and Quiet, adjust how the device processes incoming sound for different environments. In-ear detection automatically switches between hearing mode and streaming mode when the earbuds are inserted or removed, so the device doesn't need to be manually toggled between uses.

Two analog MEMS microphones per earbud pick up speech and ambient sound, with built-in feedback suppression to reduce the whistling or squealing common to hearing aids. Volume can be adjusted independently for the left and right earbud, letting each ear be tuned to a different level.

The earbuds connect over Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC codec support and a 30+ foot range, handling media and phone calls in streaming mode. They work with both iOS and Android devices.

Each earbud uses a silicone ear tip, with 3 closed tips for more focused, isolated hearing and 3 vented tips for a more natural, open sound. Touch controls on the earbuds handle playback, with automatic play and pause when an earbud is removed or reinserted.

Single earbud playtime is rated at 10 hours in hearing mode or 7 hours in music mode, with the charging case extending total playtime to 40 hours in hearing mode or 26 hours in music mode. The case charges via an integrated USB-C cable in under 2 hours, and standby time is rated at 50+ hours.

The earbuds pair with the JLab Hearing Health app for full customization of hearing modes and settings.

Includes: Hear Earbuds and charging case, 3 sets of closed silicone tips, 3 sets of vented silicone tips, and a JLab 2 year limited warranty.

Specifications

Audio
Driver: 10mm dynamic
Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz
Impedance: 16 ohm
Output: 103dB ± 3dB

Microphone
Total microphones: 2 analog MEMS
Microphone sensitivity: -38dB ± 1dB

Connectivity
Bluetooth: 5.3
Codecs: SBC, AAC
Range: 30+ ft
Support protocols: HSP / HFP / A2DP / AVRCP
Latency (Music): 200ms
iOS compatible: Yes
Android compatible: Yes

Battery
Earbud battery: 60mAh 3.7V LiPo
Single earbud playtime (Music mode): 7 hours
Single earbud playtime (Hearing mode): 10 hours
Total playtime (Music mode): 26 hours
Total playtime (Hearing mode): 40 hours
Standby time: 50+ hours
Case battery: 520mAh 3.7V LiPo
Case charge time: <2 hours
Charge cable: Integrated USB-C
Input power: DC 5V, 500mA

Hearing aid
Regulatory classification: Class 2 OTC Hearing Aid (FDA code QUG)
Ear tip type: Silicone, vented
Equivalent input noise (EIN): <28 dB SPL
Frequency range (hearing): 200Hz to 8000Hz
Harmonic distortion: <3%
Maximum output (OSPL90): 105dB ± 3dB

Fit and dimensions
Earbud height: 0.98 in
Earbud length: 0.79 in
Earbud width: 0.67 in
Earbud weight: 10.4 g
Case height: 1.18 in
Case length: 2.87 in
Case width: 1.5 in
Case weight: 26 g

Features and controls
Controls: Touch
Auto play/pause: Yes
EQ3 sound: Yes
Hearing modes: Loud, Restaurant, Conversation, Quiet
In-ear detection: Yes (auto switches hearing/streaming mode)
Independent volume control: Yes (left and right)

App (JLab Hearing Health)
App support: Yes

In the box
Hear Earbuds and case · 3 sets closed silicone tips · 3 sets vented silicone tips · JLab 2 year limited warranty

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1003/0153/7561/files/3JLabHearGraphite_61b490ea-2deb-441b-8f36-0f979ec2b888.jpg?v=1792781711
